The Purpose Of The Study: To assess changes in the parameters of the quality of life of children aged 14-15 years with chronic catarrhal gingivitis after the implementation of a complex of therapeutic and preventive measures.

Materials And Methods: The study involved 2 groups of children aged 14-15 years: group 1 - 60 children with chronic catarrhal gingivitis, group 2 - 60 children without signs of periodontal tissue damage. In 1 group of children, a complex of therapeutic and preventive measures was carried out for a month.

Article Synopsis
  • The study compares how full-length PML isoforms and their C-terminal domains form PML bodies with and without endogenous PML, identifying key characteristics of these structures.
  • Findings show that full-length PML isoforms can independently create dynamic liquid-droplet compartments, while only specific C-terminal domains (of PML-II and PML-V) can incorporate into endogenous PML bodies.
  • Moreover, alterations like the K490R substitution affect the distribution of these domains in cells, emphasizing the importance of disordered regions in facilitating liquid-liquid phase separation, regardless of the presence of structured N-terminal motifs.

Cardiopulmonary dirofilariosis caused by Dirofilaria immitis produces inflammation, blood vessel obstruction and hypoxia, which are required conditions for the beginning of the process of neovascularization. Since D. immitis harbours intracellular symbiotic Wolbachia bacterium, the global understanding of the angiogenic process requires the analysis of the effect of the parasite molecules, but also that of Wolbachia.

Human subcutaneous dirofilariosis has several clinical presentations. Many cases present as subcutaneous nodules, as a consequence of a local inflammatory reaction that encapsulates and destroys the worms. In addition, there are cases in which migrating worms located in the ocular area remain unencapsulated.

Background: Angiogenesis can occur under pathological conditions when stimuli such as inflammation, vascular obstruction or hypoxia exist. These stimuli are present in cardiopulmonary dirofilariosis (Dirofilaria immitis). The aim of this study was to analyze the capacity of D.
