[Free radicals process correction in comprehensive treatment of patients with odontogenic phlegmons of maxillofacial region].

There were examined and treated 52 patients with odontogenic phlegmons of maxillofacial region, from them 25 patients received basic therapy and 27 - additionally sodium hypochrorite, rexod and reamberin during 5 days. It was established that combined use of the abovementioned preparations exerted positive influence upon oxidation-reduction processes, promoted tissue hypoxia and endotoxicosis correction.

In experiments on rats in the process of soft tissues festering wounds treatment there was substantiated the inclusion of 0.03% sodium hypochlorite and antioxidant <> into basic therapy schedule. These preparations inclusion let reduce antioxidant stress and endogenous intoxication levels and eliminate disbalance in antioxidant systems of red blood cells and of organism as a whole in the acute phase of inflammation and speed up wound heeling processes.

In experiment on rats in the treatment of festering soft tissues wounds it was substantiated the inclusion into the scheme of the basic therapy 0.03% solution of sodium hypochlorite and antioxidant Recsod. Introduction of these preparations let to reduce the level of oxidation stress and endogenous intoxication, to eliminate imbalance in the antioxidant erythrocyte system and in the organism as a whole in the acute inflammation phase and to speed up wound healing processes.
