Contribution of cultural heritage values to steppe conservation on ancient burial mounds of Eurasia.

Civilizations, including ancient ones, have shaped global ecosystems in many ways through coevolution of landscapes and humans. However, the cultural legacies of ancient and lost civilizations are rarely considered in the conservation of the Eurasian steppe biome. We used a data set containing more than 1000 records on localities, land cover, protection status, and cultural values related to ancient steppic burial mounds (kurgans); we evaluated how these iconic and widespread landmarks can contribute to grassland conservation in the Eurasian steppes, which is one of the most endangered biomes on Earth.

[Role of tomatoes and products thereof in human healthy diet].

Epidemiological studies have established a link between the consumption of tomatoes, which contain carotenoids, and a reduction in the risk of diseases such as cancer and cardiovascular diseases. [Intestinal microbiote of athletes].

The intestinal microbiota, due to new data on its functions obtained in the last decade, has become a new target point of influence on the organism. However, nowadays knowledge about the possible impact of physical activity and sports on the composition of the gut microbiota and, as a result, on the organism is limited. of this review was to summarize current knowledge about the gut microbiota of healthy people with different levels of physical activity (from athletes to physically inactive people), and to identify patterns in the composition of the microbiota of various surveyed groups.

[Substantiation of possibility of use GABA-receptor's chloride channel blockers for modelling of the temporal epilepsy].

In work the review of some clinik-morphological and pharmacological researches devoted to a temporal epilepsy and its experimental models is resulted. On the basis of the analysis of existing problems in working out antiepileptic drugs and in studying of mechanisms epilepsy necessity of development of new chronic experimental models of a temporal epilepsy is proved. The basic criteria of experimental model of a temporal epilepsy are generalised.
