For infections, highly sensitive rapid diagnostic test kits are necessary for prompt diagnose and infection control. In this study, we evaluated "Quick Chaser CD GDH/TOX" (evaluation kit), a rapid diagnostic kit for , using 65 clinical stool specimens, comparing with GE test immunochromato-CD GDH/TOX "Nissui" (GE test) and TECHLAB QUIK CHEK COMPLETE (QUIK CHEK). View Article and Find Full Text PDFWe report the case of a 70-year-old woman with advanced hepatic encephalopathy (HE) secondary to metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH)-related cirrhosis who exhibited an excellent response to portosystemic shunt embolization. Four years earlier, she was diagnosed as having MASH-related cirrhosis accompanied by multiple mesenteric vein-inferior vena cava shunts. As her condition progressed, she suffered recurrent HE that was unresponsive to oral medication, prompting the decision to proceed with shunt embolization.

In this study, clinical information from 854 cases registered by February 16, 2024 was analyzed from multiple perspectives. Diagnosis of IgG4-RD was made in 808 cases, comprising 638 definite, 38 probable, and 132 possible.
