Deep-fat frying (DF) of mushrooms is favored by consumers due to its appealing sensory characteristics. However, their high oil absorption can lead to obesity and elevated cholesterol levels. Therefore, developing healthy food coatings as oil barriers and water-holding layers is essential.

However, the association between chemoradiation-related lymphopenia and survival outcomes in rectal cancer is yet unclear. The objective of this study was to evaluate the prognostic impact of lymphopenia and its predictors in patients with rectal cancer undergoing neoadjuvant chemoradiation.

Zinc finger proteins (ZFPs), the key regulators of plant growth and development, can be categorized based on the sequence patterns of zinc finger motifs. Here, by aligning the amino acid sequences of CFL1, AtCFL1, AtCFL2, GIRl, and GIR2, we identified the CXCXCPXC motif in their C-terminus, which differs from all the previously characterized canonical zinc finger motifs.

Sucralfate can protect the mucosa and promote its healing. This study was conducted to investigate whether colonoscopic spraying of sucralfate powder on polypectomy wounds can prevent delayed postoperative bleeding.

BiTe exhibits promising room-temperature performance, making it the sole commercially available thermoelectrics to date. Guided by the lattice plainification strategy, we introduce trace amounts of Cu into n-type Bi(Te, Se) (BTS) to occupy Bi vacancies, thereby simultaneously weakening defect scattering and modulating the electronic bands.
