We report an exaggerated dermatological inflammatory condition in an immunocompromised patient. The patient was a 51-year-old woman who had HIV infection and a history of cervical cancer. Three years after highly active antiretroviral therapy with an improved immune status, and 2 years after remission of cervical cancer, she developed verrucous perineal masses.

Paclitaxel and carboplatin for large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma of the uterine cervix.

The prognosis of large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma (LCNEC) of the uterine cervix is generally poor despite multimodality of treatments. We report a case of advanced stage cervical LCNEC that showed definite response to paclitaxel/carboplatin, resulting in years of survival. The patient was referred to our institution after undergoing a simple hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy in her local hospital because of a ruptured metastatic ovarian mass.

Lymph node size in uterine cancer: A revisit.

Efficacy of platinum plus cyclophosphamide in patients with epithelial ovarian cancer.

Objectives: To determine the response rate (RR), 5-year progression-free survival (PFS), and the 5-year survival rate (SVR) of epithelial ovarian cancer patients who received platinum plus cyclophosphamide as adjuvant postoperative chemotherapy.

Material And Method: Epithelial ovarian cancer patients who underwent tumor debulking surgery and received platinum plus cyclophosphamide as adjuvant chemotherapy at Vajira Hospital from January 1995 to December 2003 were identified. All clinical and pathological data were reviewed

Results: Among 114 patients included in the present study, 101 patients were evaluable for response.
