The rapid growth of Internet of Things (IoT) devices necessitates efficient data compression techniques to manage the vast amounts of data they generate. Chemiresistive sensor arrays (CSAs), a simple yet essential component in IoT systems, produce large datasets due to their simultaneous multi-sensor operations. Classical principal component analysis (cPCA), a widely used solution for dimensionality reduction, often struggles to preserve critical information in complex datasets.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFTerahertz (THz) waves have been widely hailed as a key enabling technology for future sixth generation (6G) wireless networks. Dynamic modulation of their polarization states is of great attraction for high-capacity communications and anisotropic sensing. The development of such technology is, however, still in very early stage owing to the difficulties of realizing electrical reconfigurability for THz devices.

The most prevalent variant in the Netherlands is the c.1222C > T p.

The most common MKC infections are caused by the species (), leading to tuberculosis-like disease. However, a broad spectrum of virulence, antimicrobial resistance and pathogenicity of these non-tuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) are observed across the MKC.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFAqueous rechargeable battery has been an intense topic of research recently due to the significant safety issues of conventional Li-ion batteries (LIBs). Amongst the various candidates of aqueous batteries, aqueous zinc ion batteries (AZIBs) hold great promise as a next generation safe energy storage device due to its low cost, abundance in nature, low toxicity, environmental friendliness, low redox potential, and high theoretical capacity. Yet, the promise has not been realized due to their limitations, such as lower capacity compared to traditional LIB, dendrite growth, detrimental degradation of electrode materials structure as ions intercalate/de-intercalate, and gas evolution/corrosion at the electrodes, which remains a significant challenge.
