Objective: To emphasize the necessity for increased research in this field, incorporating depression into the preventative, diagnostic, and therapeutic considerations for asthma. Additionally, we seek to highlight upcoming advancements that can be applied to simultaneously address these comorbidities, ultimately improving the overall well-being and quality of life for individuals coping with these conditions.
Methods: A rigorous search in PubMed using the MeSH terms "asthma" and "depression" was performed, and papers were screened by the authors in view of their eligibility to contribute to the study.
Tricuspid regurgitation (TR) is a heart condition where blood flows backward through the tricuspid valve. Tricuspid valve disease constitutes a major valvular heart condition that is receiving heightened attention due to tailored treatment options and sex-specific differences in treatment outcomes. The study aims to investigate whether biological sex has a significant influence on the development, progression, and treatment outcomes of tricuspid valve disease in adults.

While medications offer benefits to many patients, revascularization procedures such as coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), and emerging hybrid approaches remain pivotal for ACS management. This review delves into the 2018 ESC/EACTS guidelines alongside an analysis of existing literature to shed light on the spectrum of revascularization methods.

While low lactate accumulation is desirable, we report that complete substitution of glucose with these sugars results in an increase in M5 high mannose glycans. Surprisingly, this increase is much higher when the culture is supplemented with manganese: for example, when cells are cultured with galactose, M5 high mannose glycan content increased from 5% at 1 nM Mn(2+) in the basal medium to 32% with 16 µM Mn(2+) supplementation.
