In this study, we investigated the measurable residual leukemic stem cell (MR-LSC) population after allogeneic stem cell transplantation (allo-SCT) for high-risk acute myeloid leukemia (AML), utilizing T-cell immunoglobulin mucin-3 (TIM-3) expression as a functional marker of AML leukemic stem cells (LSCs). Analysis of the CD34CD38 fraction of bone marrow cells immediately after achievement of engraftment revealed the presence of both TIM-3LSCs and TIM-3 donor hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) at varying ratios. Genetic analysis confirmed that TIM-3 cells harbored patient-specific mutations identical to those found in AML clones, whereas TIM-3 cells did not, indicating that TIM-3CD34CD38 cells represent residual AML LSCs.

However, the precise mechanisms underlying this phenomenon remain unexplored. Eight-week-old male C57BL/6 mice were divided into the LC-HP diet-fed group (25.

Background: Various noninvasive tests can be used to identify high-risk groups of patients with metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease/steatohepatitis (MASLD). In this study, we compared the diagnostic performance of serum type 4 collagen 7S (COL4-7S) and the Enhanced Liver Fibrosis (ELF) score for detecting fibrosis in patients with MASLD.
Methods: Among 1368 patients with MASLD who underwent liver biopsy, 794 with values for both serum COL4-7S and the ELF score were enrolled in this multicenter study.
Selective removal of the nitrogen atom from an aromatic -heterocycle, such as pyridine, is of significant interest and importance, yet it remains highly challenging. Here, we report an unprecedented denitrogenative ring-contraction reaction of pyridines at a dititanium hydride framework, yielding cyclopentadienyl and nitride species under mild conditions. The reaction of pyridine with a dititanium tetrahydride complex () bearing rigid acridane-based PNP-pincer ligands at room temperature produced a cyclopentadienyl/nitride complex (), in which the two Ti atoms are bridged by a nitride atom and one Ti atom is bonded to a cyclopentadienyl group formed by pyridine denitrogenation and ring-contraction.

He had developed focal seizures starting from his right upper limb, and MRI showed a lesion in the subcortical white matter of his left parietal lobe. Sensory disturbance and paralysis progressed in his right upper and lower limbs, and his brain lesion rapidly enlarged.
