We investigate the comprehensive analysis's structural, electronic, optical, and elastic properties of Cs₂NaScX₆ (X = Cl, Br) double perovskites using density functional theory (DFT) implemented by the WIEN2k code. The results show that both compounds are in cubic phases. The calculated tolerance factors show both are stable compounds.

The biological effects of electromagnetic field (EMF) irradiation in the terahertz (THz) range remain ambiguous, despite numerous studies that have been conducted. In this paper, the metabolic response of K 12 to EMF irradiation was examined using a 1.0 W m incident synchrotron source (SS) in the range of 0.

Metabolic syndrome (MetS) is driven by a complex interplay of genetic, lifestyle, and dietary factors, leading to weight gain, insulin resistance, dyslipidemia, and chronic inflammation. Gut microbiota dysbiosis has been recently recognized as a key contributor to MetS, leading to advancements in gut microbiome-based interventions to improve health outcomes. Considering the unique challenges associated with the use of pre/probiotics, short-chain fatty acids (SCFA), also known as postbiotics, have emerged as promising therapeutic agents due to their role in modulating host metabolism and physiology.

Type VI secretion system (T6SS) is utilized by many Gram-negative bacteria to eliminate competing bacterial species and manipulate host cells. ATCC 17978 utilizes T6SS at the expense of losing pAB3 plasmid to induce contact-dependent killing of competitor microbes, resulting in the loss of antibiotic resistance carried by pAB3. However, the regulatory network associated with T6SS in remains poorly understood.
