Aim: To study the adverse reactions that develop as a result of complex antibiotic therapy in patients with non-tuberculous lung mycobacterial (NTML) and to determine methods for their elimination without compromising the effectiveness of NTML treatment.
Materials And Methods: Examined 147 patients with confirmed NTML, for which they received treatment in accordance with the results of drug susceptibility of the pathogen. Before and during treatment, a study of clinical, biochemical blood tests, urinalysis, electrocardiogram, external respiration function, ultrasound of the abdominal organs and kidneys was performed.
This article presents a clinical case of ocular thrombotic microangiopathy of mixed origin (antiphospholipid syndrome, malignant arterial hypertension, multigenic thrombophilia). Multimodal imaging of the fundus provides a detailed assessment of its structures. Pathological changes in the choroid, the "retinal pigment epithelium - Bruch's membrane" complex, and the neurosensory retina, identified using fundus photography, short-wavelength autofluorescence, optical coherence tomography (OCT), and OCT angiography, are described as nonspecific in nature.

Secondary metabolite biosynthetic gene clusters (BGCs) can often be identified within DNA sequences by various sequence similarity tools, but determining the exact functions of genes in the pathway and predicting their chemical products can often only be done by careful, manual comparative analysis. To facilitate this, we report the first release of the secondary metabolism collaboratory (SMC), which aims to provide a comprehensive, tool-agnostic repository of BGC sequence data drawn from all publicly available and user-submitted bacterial and archaeal genome and contig sources.

TMA in MHT has conventionally been regarded as a variation of secondary TMA, the treatment of which is restricted to the stabilization of blood pressure levels, a measure that frequently fails to prevent the rapid progression to end-stage renal disease in patients. Nevertheless, there exists a rationale to suggest that, in certain instances, endothelial damage in MHT might be rooted in the dysregulation of the complement system (CS), thereby presenting potential opportunities for the implementation of complement-blocking therapy.

It is used to detect early changes, monitor the course of the disease and treatment outcomes. In many cases, multifocal electroretinography is a more sensitive method for detecting functional disorders at the early/intermediate stage of age-related macular degeneration compared to morphological (optical coherence tomography) and subjective (visual acuity, perimetry) testing methods.
