Purpose: High dose rate (HDR) brachytherapy is increasingly adopted for dose escalation in prostate cancer treatment. We report the clinical efficacy and toxicity of HDR prostate brachytherapy combined with external beam radiotherapy (EBRT) and evaluate the predictability of the biochemical definition of cure of 4-year PSA ≤0.2 ng/mL for failure free survival (FFS).

Background: Ambulatory care sensitive conditions (ACSCs) are those for which hospital admission could be prevented by interventions in primary care. Children living in socioeconomic disadvantage have higher rates of emergency admissions for ACSCs than their more affluent counterparts. Emergency admissions for ACSCs have been increasing, but few studies have assessed how changing socioeconomic conditions (SECs) have impacted this.

Multi-environmental trials (MET) with temporal and spatial variance are crucial for understanding genotype-environment-management (GxExM) interactions in crops. Here, we present a MET dataset for winter wheat in Germany. The dataset encompasses MET spanning six years (2015-2020), six locations and nine crop management scenarios (consisting of combinations for three treatments, unbalanced in each location and year) comparing 228 cultivars released between 1963 and 2016, amounting to a total of 526,751 data points covering 24 traits.

Clear cell renal cell carcinoma is the predominant subtype of kidney cancer. With distant metastasis, the overall survival rate for patients with renal cell carcinoma decreases significantly compared to localized disease. However, pembrolizumab plus axitinib combination is safe and improves long-term survival.

The purpose of this review is to better characterize the contribution and properties of FDA-approved drugs that can be found unmodified in nature. Defined inclusion criteria were applied to drugs identified in previous studies and in annual FDA approval reports to compile a comprehensive list of approved drugs found in nature. Databases and scientific literature were searched to identify chemical and drug properties of these entities, including chemical classes, approval years, drug indications, and approved delivery methods.
