An accurate profile of gene expression at a cellular level can contribute to a better understanding of biological processes and complexities involved in regulatory mechanism of woody plants. Laser microdissection is one technique that allows isolation of specific, target cells or tissue from a heterogeneous cell population. This technique entails microscopic visualization of the selected tissue and use a laser beam to separate the desired cells from surrounding tissue.

Here we report on the diversity of 90 flavor-related fruit traits in date palms ( L.) including 80 volatile organic compounds, which collectively represent the fruit volatilome, as well as 6 organic acids, and 4 sugars in tree-ripened fruits.

Materials And Methods: The presence of foramen cecum in the lingual surface of 110 MLI was verified, and the teeth were radiographed to observe the presence of dens in dente, being classified according to the literature. An association study between the presence of foramen cecum and dens in dente was performed using the Cramer's V and chi-square statistical tests.

Bone tissue engineering seeks to adequately restore functions related to physical and biological properties, aiming at a repair process similar to natural bone. The use of compatible biopolymers, such as bacterial cellulose (BC), as well as having interesting mechanical characteristics, presents a slow in vivo degradation rate, and the ability to be chemically modified. To promote better bioactivity towards BC, we synthesized an innovative BC membrane associated to hydroxyapatite (HA) and anti-bone morphogenetic protein antibody (anti-BMP-2) (BC-HA-anti-BMP-2).

QsMYB1 is a member of the R2R3-MYB transcription factor family related to secondary growth, and in particular, with the cork development process. In order to identify the putative gene targets of QsMYB1 across the cork oak genome we developed a ChIP-Seq strategy.
