The fatty-acid s(FA) spectrum of serum blood phospholipids was studied for patients with the gastric polyps by biochemical method on gas-liquid chromatographic series of"Cvet - 500" within the isothermal mode. The quantitative estimation of FA spectrum of blood lipids was conducted after the method of normal area setting by determination of methyl ethers of FA peaks and their partides. The FA spectrum of phospholipids for patient with the gastric polyps is characterized increase growth of unsaturated FA sum (in that number polyunsaturated) and decline of saturated FA sum, which testifies to the necessity of changes lipid metabolism.

Changes in fatty acid composition of lipids are an important factor in the development of arterial hypertension. Therefore, this is very important to research the role of fatty acid spectrum of the blood and tissues in the development of hypertension. The search for effective metabolic drugs and antihypertensive drugs which would have the additional ability to influence the fatty acid composition of lipids in cells is also important today.

An evaluation of correlation between fatty acid composition in pulmonary surfactant lipids and 137Cs content in the body of children, residents of radiation-contaminated areas revealed that a increased incorporation of 137Cs promotes a disruption of fatty acid balance towards an increase in the saturation of the surfactant lipid complex, a destruction of lecithin fraction of surfactant, a decrease in antioxidant properties of surfactant system, an activation of lipid peroxidation processes in the respiratory area of lung by lipoxygenase type, a disturbance of polyunsaturated fatty acid metabolism on the stage of bioregulators-eicosanoid formation.

During application of BAA "Glucorn" for the correction of fatty-acid composition of pulmonary surfactant lipids in children-residents of radiation contaminated territories detected changes, evidence about increasing adaptation-compensatory processes in lipid membrane structures of pulmonary surfactant and respiratory tracts epithelium, activation of enzymatic pathway conversion of polyunsaturated fatty acids in their derivations--eicosanoids in absence the changes lipid peroxydation.

The correction with quercitin medication used for children residents of radioactive contaminated territories lead to changes in the lipid fatty acid spectrum of expired air condensate that were indicative of the increase in the antioxidant properties of pulmonary surfactant, the decrease in the activity of the lipid peroxidation process in the respiratory organs according to the lipoxigenese type, the increase in the unsaturated lipid complex of expired air condensate due to metabolic inactive linoleic and arachidonic polyunsaturated fatty acid.
