An experience with examination and surgical treatment of 156 patients with angiodysplasia of lower extremities shows that the ultrasonic location and dopplerography are highly informative methods of diagnosis of this disease. The orthostatic probe (the Valsalva test effect) allows the spread of angiodysplasia (suprafascial or subfascial) to be determined. The adequate strategy and volume of surgery can be chosen correctly.
