Introduction: Knowledge of anatomical variations of the great vessels of the abdomen, including the coeliac trunk, is important for clinicians planning surgical intervention and radiological imaging. The present study aimed to record the prevalence of variations in the vascular pattern of branches of the coeliac trunk in cadavers.
Methods: A total of 50 properly embalmed and formalin-fixed cadavers from the Indian population were selected for the study.

Background: Vascular variations regarding the branching pattern of the aorta are important in different laparoscopic surgeries, liver and kidney transplantation, oncologic resections, and various interventional radiological procedures in the abdominal region. The present work was undertaken on cadavers to examine the prevalence of vascular patterns of the important branches of the abdominal aorta.
Material And Methods: A total of 50 properly embalmed and formalin fixed cadavers were dissected in the abdominal region, and viscera were mobilised to expose the origin of important branches of the abdominal aorta.

Materials And Methods: Fifty cadavers were dissected and 50 intravenous pyelograms were examined on both (right and left) sides for the presence of duplex system and double ureter.
Results: One male cadaver aged 43 years showed complete double ureter and duplex system on the right side and incomplete double ureter and duplex system on the left side.
