Yeast is a poikilothermic organism and adapts its lipid composition to the environmental temperature to maintain membrane physical properties. Studies addressing temperature-dependent adaptation of the lipidome have described changes in the phospholipid composition at the level of sum composition (e.g.

Previous studies involving stakeholders highlight a need for quality evaluation of these resources. The aim of this study was to identify website resources accessible to UK-based online health seekers and explore their content through quality assessment.

Here, we introduce a new technique to completely calibrate a high-resolution echelle spectrograph using only a laser frequency comb. Selected individual comb lines are removed from a broadband 20 GHz laser frequency comb-revealing their exact location in the spectrograph echellogram-and wavelength-tagged with sub-fm accuracy.

Background: Neonates undergoing emergency abdominal surgery frequently require a stoma; closing this stoma with a second operation is an essential part of recovery. Timing of closure varies. Optimal timing is unclear and would be best resolved through a randomised controlled trial; such a trial is likely to be challenging.
