Due to significant dietary supplement use in the US, product manufacturers must understand the importance of implementing a robust approach to establishing safety for all ingredients, including dietary ingredients, components, and finished dietary supplement products. Different regulatory pathways exist by which the safety of dietary ingredients can be established, and thus allowed to be marketed in a dietary supplement. For individual dietary ingredients, safety information may come from a variety of sources including history of safe use, presence of the ingredient in foods, and/or non-clinical and clinical data.

This study aimed to assess how the pandemic affected perinatal mental health and other pregnancy and neonatal outcomes in a tertiary unit in Queensland, Australia.
Methods: This was a retrospective cohort study of pregnant women booked for care between March 2019 - June 2019 and March 2020 - June 2020.
Background: Aural microsuction can be associated with delayed syncopal and vertiginous events, which can lead to serious adverse patient safety incidents.
Objective: This article highlights the serious risks associated with microsuction.
Materials And Methods: We performed a retrospective review of the hospital risk database over a 2-year period.
Background: Although associations between maternal exposure to adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and perinatal anxiety and depression are established, there is a paucity of information about the associations between ACEs and perinatal trauma and perinatal post-traumatic stress outcomes. For the purposes of this article, perinatal trauma is defined as a very frightening or distressing event that may result in psychological harm. The event must have been related to conception, pregnancy, birth, and up to 12 months postpartum.

We further sought to identify biopsychosocial correlates of perinatal symptoms in women with depression.
