Background: Because Regnase-1, encoded by , suppresses the development of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) by controlling pro-inflammatory cytokines, we aimed to identify variants in patients with PAH.
Methods And Results: We analyzed whole-genome sequence data of patients with PAH to search for disease-associated variants. The Regnase-1 p.
Background: Cervical myelopathy is rarely caused by vertebral artery (VA) compression, and a very limited number of cases have been published. In most of these cases, dorsal cord compression was observed and treated by microvascular decompression (MVD). However, in the very rare case of ventral spinal cord compression by the VA (VSCV), access for MVD is significantly limited.

In coil embolization of intracranial aneurysms, the volume embolization rate (VER) of coils is commonly regarded as a predictor of aneurysm recanalization. However, there is limited research investigating the correlation between VER and hemodynamics across a diverse patient population using computational fluid dynamics (CFD). In this study, we assessed the impact of VER on the blood velocity in aneurysms using CFD analysis with varying VER.

This study presents an innovative method to increase the accuracy of coil selection for treating cerebral aneurysms, leveraging advanced image analysis and machine learning models. We examined 273 cases of saccular cerebral aneurysms treated at The Jikei University School of Medicine. The focus was on using comprehensive feature extraction from 3D medical images to predict the optimal size and length of the initial coil for endovascular coil embolization.
