This exploratory study aims to understand how health and behavioral health leaders define workforce wellness, articulate their role in relationship to promoting organizational wellness, and how they currently and in the future hope to address wellness within their organization. Twenty-five leaders from one southeastern state completed five open-ended survey questions regarding workforce wellness. Results indicate that these leaders defined workforce wellness in terms of creating a healthy workplace, encouraging employees to prioritize well-being, promoting work-life balance, implementing initiatives aimed at promoting wellness, and providing wellness trainings.

Our understanding of Sp5C PN organisation and function has advanced less than the parallel spinal cord output system despite their corresponding roles for transmission of nociceptive signals from the orofacial region and body respectively. Viral vectors are an established approach for studying circuit connectivity in the nervous system, but different serotypes are known to produce variable results across circuits.

Informal health supporters (family members and friends) are critical sources of self-care support, but much remains unclear about the characteristics and implications of received support among this patient population. We examined how received self-care support (amount and type) related to positive (CKD management self-efficacy) and negative (depressive symptoms) psychosocial health correlates of self-care in 536 adults aged 65 years and older with non-dialysis-dependent CKD.

The existence and function of a substantial axon collateral network, also arising from PNs and remaining within the spinal cord, is less well appreciated. Here we use a retrograde viral transduction strategy to characterise a novel subpopulation of deep dorsal horn spinoparabrachial neurons.

Laboratory techniques currently utilized for routine HNA-1 genotyping, predominantly PCR-sequence-specific primer (PCR-SSP) and PCR-sequence-based typing (PCR-SBT), lack specificity for . This study compares the capabilities and limitations of existing technologies including an in-house TaqMan PCR, a commercial PCR-SSP test, PCR-SBT and multiplex ligation-dependent probe amplification (MLPA) with those of a long-read nanopore sequencing assay.
