Epidemiological characteristics and genetic diversity of Bartonella species from rodents in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, Southwestern China.

Bartonella spp. are gram-negative bacteria recognized as zoonotic pathogens of wide spectrum mammals. Rodents are recognized as a natural reservoir of pathogens, and many Bartonella species transmitted by various blood-sucking arthropods have been detected in various rodents populations.

Targeting autophagy plus high-dose CDK4/6 inhibitors in advanced HR+HER2- breast cancer: A phase 1b/2 trial.

Background: The unmet needs of managing patients with hormone receptor-positive/human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative (HR+/HER2-) breast cancer who progress after cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK)4/6 inhibitor (CDK4/6i) treatment remain unclarified.

Methods: This was a phase 1b/2, single-arm, open-label study that enrolled 29 patients with HR+/HER2- breast cancer who experienced first-line palbociclib treatment failure. The primary endpoint was the incidence of dose-limiting toxicity (DLT).

Fast Kinetics Enabled by Ion Enrichment Layer for Dendrite-Free Zinc Anode.

Aqueous zinc-ion batteries (AZIBs) are considered a promising choice for energy storage devices owing to the excellent safety and favorable capacity of the Zn anode. However, the uncontrolled dendrite growth of Zn anode severely constrains the practical applications of AZIBs. Herein, a novel ion enrichment layer of CuS is designed and constructed on the Zn foil surface to achieve dendrite-free Zn anode.

Impact of Potassium Doping on a Two-Dimensional Kagome Organic Framework on Ag(111).

Alkali element doping has significant physical implications for two-dimensional materials, primarily by tuning the electronic structure and carrier concentration. It can enhance interface electronic interactions, providing opportunities for effective charge transfer at metal-organic interfaces. In this work, we investigated the effects of gradually increasing the level of K doping on the lattice structure and electronic properties of an organometallic coordinated Kagome lattice on a Ag(111) surface.
