Purpose: Desmoid tumors are bland fibroblastic tumors that do not metastasize but have a high rate of local recurrence. Previously published studies proposed two different transcriptomic signatures to predict relapse. Molecular heterogeneity has been well established in high-grade sarcomas, but little is known about molecular variability within locally aggressive tumors such as desmoids.

This study assessed the clinical impact of the timing of first-line (1L) targeted therapies (TTs) in aNSCLC.
Materials And Methods: This retrospective analysis of a nationwide electronic health record-derived deidentified database included patients aged ≥18 years diagnosed with aNSCLC with ADOs (ALK, BRAF, EGFR, RET, MET, ROS-1, and NTRK) from January 1, 2015, to October 18, 2022, by biomarker testing within 90 days after advanced diagnosis and received 1L treatment.
Genomic and transcriptomic analysis has furthered our understanding of many tumors. Yet, thyroid cancer management is largely guided by staging and histology, with few molecular prognostic and treatment biomarkers. Here, we utilize a large cohort of 251 patients with 312 samples from two tertiary medical centers and perform DNA/RNA sequencing, spatial transcriptomics, and multiplex immunofluorescence to identify biomarkers of aggressive thyroid malignancy.

To improve patient outcomes it is essential to develop a technology that is able to rapidly select the most efficacious therapy that targets the diverse phenotypes present within the tumor. Breast cancer organoid technologies are proposed as an attractive approach for evaluating drug responses prior to patient therapy.
