Hepatitis C (HCV) can be treated in the primary care setting; however, most patients are referred to subspecialists. Marginalized populations may be refused treatment due to stigma or substance use. We aimed to treat HCV in these high-risk patients, and prevent a delay in time from diagnosis to the time of treatment and sustained virologic response (SVR), by utilizing a multidisciplinary treatment team in a primary care clinic.

The objective of this study is to assess nutrition services and resources provided to families during the first 1000 days across diverse settings in California.
Methods: A semistructured survey was disseminated to healthcare and educational providers who offer services to pregnant and/or postpartum women and children up to age 2 years.
Innate-like splenic marginal zone (MZ) B (MZB) cells play unique roles in immunity due to their rapid responsiveness to blood-borne microbes. How MZB cells integrate cell-extrinsic and -intrinsic processes to achieve accelerated responsiveness is unclear. We found that Delta-like1 (Dll1) Notch ligands in splenic fibroblasts regulated MZB cell pool size, migration, and function.

This review records and presents studies that have investigated horse housing design, evaluates the location and number of studies carried out to date, and reports the methods used to assess impact on equine well-being. A Boolean search was conducted in two databases: Web of Science and Scopus, filtered according to Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) protocol, resulting in 60 peer-reviewed papers for evaluation.

Among the substrates that can be used as a probe for hyperpolarised NMR and MRI, pyruvate has gained much attention. SABRE can hyperpolarise pyruvate in a low cost, fast, and reversible fashion that does not involve technologically demanding equipment.
