Purpose: The Swedish Families of the 1990s (SWIFT90) is a population-based national register cohort that follows everyone born between 1990 and 1999, their parents and siblings. The cohort was set up primarily to investigate factors associated with biological parents' involvement with child welfare services and their outcomes following child(ren) placement in out-of-home care (OHC) under the research project 'Drivers of inequalities of families involved in child welfare services (DRIVERS)'.

Participants: This cohort is defined as families consisting of parents and their children, of which at least one was born between 1990 and 1999 in Sweden, which totals 1 075 037 children.

Alzheimer's disease (AD), a prevalent neurodegenerative disorder, leads to progressive dementia, which impairs decision-making, problem-solving, and communication. While there is no cure, early detection can facilitate treatments to slow its progression. Deep learning (DL) significantly enhances AD detection by analyzing brain imaging data to identify early biomarkers, improving diagnostic accuracy and predicting disease progression more precisely than traditional methods.

Black carbon (BC) aerosols play a very significant role in influencing air quality, climate, and human health. Large uncertainties still exist in BC emissions due to limited observations on the relative source contributions of fossil fuel (ff) combustion and biomass (wood fuel, wf) burning. Our understanding of long-term changes in BC emissions, especially their source apportionment, is sparse and limited.

Civets are frugivorous animals in the Order Carnivora. They are relatively less shy towards people and anthropogenic habitats. It has been reported that the civets' preference of defecating in open sites enable them to be important seed dispersers of degraded forests and urban ecosystems of Asia and Africa.

Chitosan, as a proficient biopolymer, has enormous potential as an ecofriendly corrosion inhibitor (CI), but their limited solubility restricts practical applications. Herein, an eco-friendly and water-soluble chitosan salt (CS) was utilized as a green CI on N80 pipeline steel in artificial sea water. Several structural and surface analytical tools were engaged in describing the characteristics of novel CS polymer.
