- Rats were subjected to weightlessness starting from the 13th day of pregnancy for 6 days, and their brain development was examined in 18-day-old fetuses compared to control rats on Earth.
- Key morphological processes like neuronal differentiation, growth, and vascularization developed adequately in weightless conditions, but some deviations were noted, particularly in vascularization, with thinner and more numerous vessels.
- Any observed changes in cell migration rates and other developmental factors were found to normalize quickly once the rats were back on Earth.
