Objective: To show that magnetic resonance morphometry and laboratory biomarkers are promising methods for early detection of progressive forms of multiple sclerosis (MS).
Material And Methods: Eighty-one patients with MS were examined, magnetic resonance morphometry was performed in all of them, 60 patients were analyzed for neurofilament light chains (sNFL), phosphorylated neurofilament heavy chains (spNFH) and glial fibrillary protein (sGFAP) in serum by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.
Results: Brain volumes were negatively correlated with disease duration, EDSS score, 25-foot walk test score and 9-ring test and positively correlated with the Symbol-Numeric Test and the Montreal Cognitive Assessment.
The progressive improvement of the classification using modern analytical methods is an essential tool for the development of precise and personalized approaches to the treatment of pituitary adenomas. In recent years, endocrinologists have witnessed evolutionary changes that have occurred in the histopathological identification of pituitary neoplasms, revealing new possibilities for studying tumorigenesis and predicting biological behavior. The paper considers the historical aspects of the gradual improvement of the classification of pituitary adenomas, as well as the new international 2022 WHO classification, according to which pituitary adenomas are included in the list of neuroendocrine tumors (PitNETs) to reflect the biological aggressiveness of some non-metastatic pituitary adenomas.

Respiratory training with hypercapnic hypoxia has shown a positive impact on the functional state of the nervous system in children with cerebral palsy (CP). It can be presumed that the combined effect of moderate hypercapnia and hypoxia will be promising for clinical application within the context of early rehabilitation after ischemic stroke.

-associated diseases are rare causes of pharmacoresistant epilepsy and status epilepticus, especially in adult patients. Phenotypic and genotypic variability in these conditions causes the complexity of their diagnosis. In the study, we report a case of a 33-year-old female patient who developed recurrent convulsive status epilepticus with focal clonic onset at the week 22/23 of pregnancy.
