Non-healing wounds represent a substantial medical burden with few effective treatments available. To address this challenge, we developed a novel epidermal wound healing model using suction blisters in healthy volunteers. This model allowed for the comprehensive assessment of wound healing dynamics and the evaluation of INM-755, a topical cream containing cannabinol, as a potential therapeutic agent.

The association between maternal lifetime interpersonal trauma experience and perceived mother-infant bonding.

Background: Interpersonal traumas are common among expectant and new mothers and are found to have considerable impacts on women's mental health. These experiences may disrupt maternal perceptions of the mother-infant relationship, which is essential for healthy infant development, but findings are inconsistent. This study aims to explore associations between lifetime interpersonal traumas and their impact on self-reported mother-infant bonding.

Automatic brain tissue segmentation in fetal MRI using convolutional neural networks.

MR images of fetuses allow clinicians to detect brain abnormalities in an early stage of development. The cornerstone of volumetric and morphologic analysis in fetal MRI is segmentation of the fetal brain into different tissue classes. Manual segmentation is cumbersome and time consuming, hence automatic segmentation could substantially simplify the procedure.

Comprehensive, Multimodal Characterization of an Imiquimod-Induced Human Skin Inflammation Model for Drug Development.

Imiquimod (IMQ) is often used as a topical challenge agent to provoke local skin inflammation. The objective of this study was to develop and refine a rapid, temporary, and reversible human skin inflammation model with IMQ for application in clinical drug development. A randomized, vehicle-controlled, open-label, dose-ranging study was conducted in 16 healthy male subjects.
