Frailty and fractures are closely associated with adverse clinical outcomes. This retrospective study investigated the prognostic impact of frailty, prevalent fractures, and the coexistence of both in patients with cirrhosis. Frailty was defined according to the Fried frailty phenotype criteria: weight loss, weakness, exhaustion, slowness, and low physical activity.

This study aimed to evaluate the visibility of intracranial perforating arteries on ultra-high-resolution (UHR) CT angiography (CTA) on PCD-CT. A retrospective analysis of intracranial UHR PCD-CTA was performed for 30 patients.

From October 2020 to February 2021, a total of 95 retail chicken meat products from 39 retail meat shops in Tokyo Metropolis and Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, were collected and examined for the prevalence of Salmonella to assess public health implications. If a sample tested positive for Salmonella, a quantitative analysis was performed using the three-tube most probable number (MPN) method. Of 95 retail chicken meat products, Salmonella was isolated from 30 samples (31.

This approach identified that the combination of acriflavine as a photocatalyst and 1-methyl-4-arylurazol (MAUra) as a protein labeling agent was the most efficient strategy to proceed the protein proximity labeling reaction. Furthermore, the identification of the labeled amino acids in histone H3 interacting proteins, histone lysine -methyltransferase EZH2, showed that the amino acid in EZH2 within a few nanometers from histone H3 is labeled by iPPL.
