Schizophrenia (SZ) is a chronic mental disorder, affecting approximately 1% of the global population, it is believed to result from various environmental factors, with psychological factors potentially influencing its onset and progression. Discrete wavelet transform (DWT)-based approaches are effective in SZ detection. In this report, we aim to investigate the effect of wavelet and decomposition levels in SZ detection.

SARS-CoV-2, also called coronavirus causes SARS-CoV-2 or severe acute respir-atory syndrome, a highly transmissible disease that has rapidly spread worldwide, straining healthcare systems and leading to a substantial number of fatalities. Interestingly, SARS-CoV-2 has revealed a gender difference, with males dying at a greater rate and with more severe cases than women. It's worth noting that the male reproductive system might be par-ticularly susceptible to damage during periods of moderate to severe sickness, which has been linked to cases of orchitis and erectile dysfunction.

Urine samples were systematically collected from inseminated Murrah buffaloes (Bubalus bubalis) on days 0, 7, 14, 21 and 28 (with day 0 representing the day of artificial insemination). Following confirmation of pregnancy via trans rectal palpation 45 days of insemination, the animals were categorised into pregnant and non-pregnant groups (n = 10 each). The urine samples on 0, 7, 14, 21 and 28 days of pregnant and one sample from non-pregnant preferably collected on 28th day was used for SDS-PAGE after diafiltration.

Spontaneous biliary perforation is a rare condition, predominantly observed in infants, characterized by the leakage of bile into the peritoneal cavity without any apparent cause. This case report discusses a 3-month-old female infant who presented with symptoms of jaundice and abdominal distension. The successful management of this case with a combination of ultrasound-guided percutaneous drainage and laparoscopic cholecystostomy is detailed, highlighting the importance of minimally invasive techniques in treating this condition.
