[Immune reactivity in workers engaged in cement production].

The authors studied immune state of workers engaged in cement production. Ambivalent changes of immune parameters in apparently healthy workers depict various stages of adaptational protective reactions in body system. The studies support gradual changes in immune system under continued influence of occupational factors.

[Methodical aspects of hygienic safety assessment of polymeric materials in contact with foodstuffs].

It was purposed new technique by capillary gas chromatography (GC) for the low level determination of monomer hexamethylenediamine (HMDA) in food simulants water from polymeric materials in contact with foodstuffs. Hexamethylenediamine, HN2-(CH2)6-NH2, is a monomer used in the manufacture of certain of polyamide plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with foodstuffs. Compound exhibits all the chemical properties of aliphatic amines, is an irritant, causing dermatitis, can accumulate in the body, the degree of human exposure to HMDA assigned to the 2nd class of hazard - the substance is highly dangerous.

[Experience of the conservative treatment of the gallbladder cholesterosis in children].

Gallbladder cholesterosis (GBC) was described more than 150 years ago, but so far the disease remains unknown. With respect to children's age appear solitary works. The introduction of modern pediatric practice of the intrascopic research methods enabled us to objectively identify the pathological changes in the gallbladder wall.

[Morphological and immunohistochemical studies of palatine tonsillar hypertrophy in children].

The paper presents the results of immunohistochemical and morphometric studies conducted to examine an association of the site, the expression of virus antigens, and the nature of morphological changes in the hypertrophic palatine tonsils in children. The distribution of CD3+ and CD20+ cells was explored in tonsillar tissue. The greatest changes were shown in the epithelium, the antigens of herpex simplex virus being more frequently detected than those of human papillomavirus.
