Background: Fluticasone propionate/salmeterol multidose, dry powder inhaler (MDPI) was the first and only authorized generic inhaled corticosteroid/long-acting beta agonist (ICS/LABA) combination inhaler at the time of this study. This offers the potential for significant prescription cost-savings for both patients and accountable care organizations. The objective of the study was to demonstrate patients' clinical response to generic fluticasone propionate/salmeterol MDPI when switched from one of its brand name competitors.

Objective: To evaluate the effect of a remotely delivered multicomponent behaviorally tailored intervention on adherence to medications for hyperlipidemia, hypertension, and diabetes.
Design, Setting, And Participants: Two-arm pragmatic cluster randomized controlled trial at a multispecialty group practice including participants 18 to 85 years old with suboptimal hyperlipidemia, hypertension, or diabetes disease control, and who were nonadherent to prescribed medications for these conditions.

The consideration that mucosubstances act as sites of nucleation and salivary calculi growth prompted to this investigation. Nine calculi of the main excretory duct of the submandibular gland were decalcified and routinely embedded in paraffin.
