Photoelectron Holographic Study for Atomic Site Occupancy for Si Dopants in Si-Doped κ-GaO(001).

We investigated atomic site occupancy for the Si dopant in Si-doped κ-GaO(001) using photoelectron spectroscopy (PES) and photoelectron holography (PEH). From PES and PEH, we found that the Si dopant had one chemical state, and three types of inequivalent Si substitutional sites (Si) were formed. The ratios for the inequivalent tetrahedral, pentahedral, and octahedral Si sites were estimated to be 55.

Transient decrease in the depth of the negative T wave in apical hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is a sign of left anterior descending artery stenosis: a case series.

Background: In patients with apical hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), electrocardiography (ECG) often shows left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) and a negative T wave. A negative T wave often disappears over time due to degeneration of the apical myocardium. However, there are limited reports on the temporary change of a negative T wave in patients with HCM.

Aortobronchial fistula after Bentall procedure treated with elective arch replacement: A case report.

Aortobronchial fistula often requires emergency surgery as it causes rapidly progressing respiratory failure. Some patients present with recurrent hemoptysis episodes. We report the case of a patient who was saved by elective surgery after aortobronchial fistula following aortic pseudoaneurysm rupture into the lung.

Serum concentrations of ketones increase after hand-ergometer exercise in persons with cervical spinal cord injuries: a preliminary prospective study.

[Hemobilia due to ruptured superior pancreaticoduodenal pseudoaneurysm after chemoradiotherapy for pancreatic head cancer: an autopsy case report].

A 78-year-old man came to our department because of obstructive jaundice, and was diagnosed as pancreatic head cancer. He underwent chemoradiation therapy. A metal stent was inserted into the common bile duct and the patient was followed up on an outpatient basis.
