We report the case of a 56-year-old man presenting several episodes of body image distortions with a sensation of having a horn growing on his forehead, as a unicorn, corresponding to the Alice in Wonderland syndrome. Brain single-photon emission computed tomography with technetium-99m hexamethylpropyleneamine oxime showed hypoperfusion of the visual primary cortex, expanding to the temporo-occipital junction bilaterally but predominantly on the right side.

However, some anatomopathological studies have found AD lesions in those patients. We compared brain perfusion SPECT of 18 svPPA patients with cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) biomarkers indicative of non-AD pathology (svPPA-nonAD) and three svPPA patients with CSF biomarkers indicative of underlying AD (svPPA-AD).

Setting: Two university departments of surgery, France.
We report two cases of mucinous pancreatic ductal ectasia including one which progressed to micro-invasive carcinoma. The frequency of this tumor may be under-estimated (24 cases reported in the literature) because of confusion with pseudocysts or mucinous cystadenoma. The diagnosis is made at retrograde cholangiopancreatography.
