The frequency of femoral quadriceps muscle hypotrophy has become a significant therapeutic problem. Efforts are being made to improve the standard scheme of kinesitherapeutic treatment by using additional more effective therapeutic methods. We describe a technique using high resolution ultrasonography for needle placement for shoulder arthrography employing the posterior approach, which to our knowledge has not been reported previously.
