In this article we demonstrate that dynamical quantum phase transitions (DQPTs) occur for an exemplary higher order topological insulator, the Benalcazar-Bernevig-Hughes model, following quenches across a topological phase boundary. A dynamical bulk boundary correspondence is also seen both in the eigenvalues of the Loschmidt overlap matrix and the boundary return rate. The latter is found from a finite size scaling analysis for which the relative simplicity of the model is crucial.

The kinetic Monte Carlo method is used to model the dynamic properties of proton diffusion in anhydrous proton conductors. The results have been discussed with reference to a two-step process called the Grotthuss mechanism. There is a widespread belief that this mechanism is responsible for fast proton mobility.

The aim of presented study were to assess the usefulness of rhinomanometry in monitoring course of disease and effectivity of treatment in seasonal allergic rhinitis (SAR) through answering the question whether and eventually which relationship exists between patient's general feeling and results of rhinomanometric measurements of nasal patency (NP). The study involved 114 subjects with SAR divided into 3 groups dependent on phase of disease and severity of complaints and 30 healthy volunteers. For results see table I.

A male infant displayed a congenital malformation of the genitourinary system manifested by rectoscrotal translocation of the penis with hypospadias and a bipartial urinary bladder with a suprapubical fistula and right kidney agenesis. In a first operation performed when he was 6 years of age, the urinary fistula was excised, and a broad anastomosis between the two parts of the urinary bladder was performed. In a second operation two years later, the longitudinal axis of the penis was transposed in frontal direction.
