Aim of the research - to study the peculiar features of the left ventricle (LV) diastolic function (DF) and regulation of arterial pressure (AP) in patients with a history of acute coronary syndrome (ACS) in cardiac rehabilitation treatment dynamics depending on smoking factor. 114 patients at the age of 42-78 years old (average age 56,61±1,35) that have recently had ACS (less than 28 days ago) have been examined and have passed cardiac rehabilitation programme in the rehabilitation department after cardiac diseases at "Morshynkurort" sanatorium-resort complex. All patients have been divided into 2 groups according to smoking habit.

Objective: Introduction: Acute forms of cardiovascular are a major problem in the structure of morbidity and mortality, especially among perimenopausal women. The most important is nature and features of the damage of the coronary arteries on the basis of the development of estrogen deficiency in perimenopausal women with non ST elevation acute coronary syndrome and the frequent absence of visual lesions of the coronary arteries, which require a detailed study. The aim: To conduct lesions of epicardial arteries and coronary microcirculation in women with non ST elevation acute coronary syndrome, depending on the level of female sex hormones.

The article presents the results for the study of lipid correction capacity and safety of concomitant use of policosanol and rosuvastatin compared with rosuvastatin monotherapy in patients with stable coronary artery disease and moderate hepatic dysfunction. Fifty-seven subjects aged 37 to 72 years (mean age 54.4 years +/- 6.

Unlabelled: PURPOSE AND MATERIAL: In order to study the state of coronary arteries, and dynamics of parameters of kidney function, lipid metabolism, levels of glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c), uricemia during administration of atorvastatin in a complex of standard cardioprotective treatment, we examined 54 patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) of nondiabetic origin.

Methods: All patients were divided in 2 groups: group I - 31 patients with glomerular filtration rate (GFR) <60 ml/min, who were additionally administered atorvastatin 20 mg/day; group II - 23 patients with glomerular filtration rate (GFR) more or equal 60 ml/min. On day 1 of hospitalization and after 6 months of treatment we determined levels of systolic and diastolic blood pressure (SBP and DBP), pulse pressure (PBP), lipid profile, uric acid levels, HbA1c and GFR (Cockcroft - Gault).
