[Inhibition in association cortex neurons upon direct and transcallosal stimulation in the cat].

The experiments were performed on cats immobilized with myorelaxants. Depression of background activity or IPSP was recorded in neurons of the associative cortex in response to direct cortical and transcallosal stimulation. With the intensification of stimulation the duration of inhibition increased up to a certain limit for each studied cell.
