Pauli channels are fundamental in the context of quantum computing as they model the simplest kind of noise in quantum devices. We propose a quantum algorithm for simulating Pauli channels and extend it to encompass Pauli dynamical maps (parametrized Pauli channels). A parametrized quantum circuit is employed to accommodate for dynamical maps.

Introduction: Conical tapered stems may be useful implants to manage the reconstruction of complex dysplastic anatomies. The aims of this paper were to assess: 1) the preoperative CT features of the dysplastic femurs; 2) survival rates, complications and reasons for revision; 3) the clinical outcomes; 4) the radiographic outcomes of single-taper conical stems in dysplasia (defined as center edge angle < 20°) at a long-term follow-up.

Hypothesis: Monoblock conical stem provides a 10-year survival rate of at least 95%, with excellent clinical outcomes and bony ingrowth.

In this article, a combination of non-destructive NIR spectroscopy and machine learning techniques was applied to predict the texture parameters and the total soluble solids content (TSS) in intact berries. The multivariate models obtained by building artificial neural networks (ANNs) and applying partial least squares (PLS) regressions showed a better prediction ability after the elimination of uninformative spectral ranges. A very good prediction was obtained for TSS and springiness (R 0.

Introduction: birth preparedness and complication readiness (BPCR) intervention should greatly have an impact on the reduction of maternal mortality if implemented properly at all levels. Responsibility for BPCR must be shared among all safe motherhood stakeholders-because a coordinated effort is needed to reduce the delays that contribute to maternal and newborn deaths. This study aimed to assess the factors associated with birth preparedness and complication readiness among pregnant women attending government health facilities in the Bamenda Health District.

Texture characteristics are valuable parameters in the perceived quality and overall acceptability of fresh fruit. The characterization of grape texture attributes, such as firmness and crunchiness, is usually performed by sensory analysis or instrumental texture analysis. Both methodologies are destructive.
