Aetiology of Vascular Purpura in a Single Centre Experience: Contribution of Clinical and Paraclinical Data.

Background: Vascular purpura can be the clinical expression of infectious, inflammatory, drug-related, neoplastic, and endocrine pathologies. To date, there is no consensus codifying the investigation of vascular purpura, especially when it is isolated.

Patients And Methods: We proposed to study through a retrospective study of 73 cases of vascular purpura, occurring during the period 2004-2019 in our internal medicine department, the contribution of various clinical and paraclinical data to the aetiological diagnosis of vascular purpura.

Accurate density functional theory prediction of low-dimensional yttrium nitride: From 2D hexagonal and square monolayers to 1D zizag single walled nanotubes.

Through this contribution, we aim to highlight the structural stability of low dimensional YN structures ranging from the 3D bulk to the 2D square and hexagonal monolayers and their corresponding 1D zigzag single walled nanotubes. For all arrangements, geometry optimization is achieved at the DFT/B3LYP level of theory using a Gaussian basis set. Then, the coupled perturbed Kohn-Sham and Hartree-Fock (CPKS/HF) computational approach is used to simulate Raman and IR spectrum.

Dielectric response of high- hafnium oxide under finite electric field: nonlinearities from and experimental points of view.

Herein, we report on the dielectric-voltage nonlinearities under a constant electric field in metal insulator metal (MIM) capacitor-based hafnium oxide (HfO) with respect to the frequency range. the Schottky emission mechanism obtained from the current-voltage characteristic (-), we calculated the optical dielectric constant for different external DC bias values. The extracted revealed a quadratic dependence on the applied external field.

[A rare cause of pulmonary arterial hypertension: Thoracic amyloidosis].

Isolated thoracic involvement in amyloidosis is a rare and serious condition. Its association with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) usually weakens the prognosis. We report the case of a 40-year-old man with a smoking history, hospitalized for chest pain, abdominal pain and acute respiratory distress.

Pheochromocytoma presenting as an authentic small vessel vasculitis and complicated with pulmonary embolism: An original presentation.

Diagnosis of pheochromocytoma can be simple when classic manifestations are present. It can also be challenging and complicated in some cases because of its wide array of faces and presentations. We present a case of a 30-year-old female patient who came with acute respiratory distress, chest pain, hemoptysis, asthenia, anorexia, weight loss of 20kg, and paresthesia in her lower limbs.
