The heterojunction materials are considered as promising electrocatalyst candidates that empower advanced lithium-sulfur (Li-S) batteries. However, the detailed functional mechanism of heterojunction materials to boost the sulfur redox reaction kinetics remains unclear. Herein, we construct a multifunctional potential well-type Bi2Te3/TiO2 topological insulator (TI) heterojunction with electric dipole domain to elucidate the synergistic mechanism, which facilitates rapid mass transport, strengthens polysulfide capture ability and accelerates polysulfide conversion.

Airway organoids have recently become a valuable resource for the investigation of respiratory diseases. However, limited access to clinical tissue samples hinders the use of airway organoids to study COPD.

The editorial explores the broader implications of the study findings for clinical practice, thus highlighting the pivotal role of SGLT2is in improving cardiac function, reducing oxidative stress, and attenuating inflammation. It emphasizes the importance of early intervention with SGLT2is in preventing the progression of diabetic cardiomyopathy; hence, these inhibitors have the potential to transform the management of asymptomatic heart failure in patients with diabetes.

Therefore, we employed diverse statistical models to evaluate the associations between eight urinary metals and the risks of all-cause and cardiovascular mortality.
Methods: We measured the levels of 8 metals in the urine of adults who participated in the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) from 1999 to 2018.
Pharmacists have often been viewed as the last line of defence against prescription errors in traditional care models. Although a large number of chronic care patients are using telehealth services to increase their access to continuous care, researchers have yet to investigate prescription safety in such settings in Australia. The absence of this literature is particularly concerning in the context of the Australian Government's admission in a 2024 report that the national health system has not adequately addressed the World Health Organization's 'Medication without harm' objective.
