Multispectral long-wave infrared (LWIR) ranging is a technique that estimates the distance to the object based on wavelength-dependent absorption of LWIR light through the air. Prior works require time-consuming measurements for calibration and solve non-linear inverse problems, which sometimes falls into a local minimum. In this paper, we propose a linear representation that connects the measurements and the scene parameters using the affine matrix.

Genetic relationships were examined for a total of 90 individuals of 90 species or species var. from 13 genera of Malawian cichlids based on the sequences of an amplified 991-bp fragment of the mtDNA control region (mtDNA-CR). In the network analysis, no exclusive clades were made by all the members of any genera in this study.

Background: One significant challenge in addressing the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic is to grasp a comprehensive picture of its infectious mechanisms. We urgently need a consistent framework to capture the intricacies of its complicated viral infectious processes and diverse symptoms.

Results: We systematized COVID-19 infectious processes through an ontological approach and provided a unified description framework of causal relationships from the early infectious stage to severe clinical manifestations based on the homeostasis imbalance process ontology (HoIP).

Relapse or progressive disease after chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) treatment remains a major issue for poor-risk aggressive large B-cell lymphoma. However, limited data are available on post-CAR-T use of polatuzumab vedotin. Here we describe the case of a patient with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) who experienced relapse three months after CD19-directed CAR-T therapy with tisagenlecleucel.
