However, there are unsolved ambiguities underlying mechanisms for this growth signaling thereby creating therapeutic complications. This study shows that a vital component of the pathway CRAF is directly impacted by an end product of the cascade, glutathione transferases (GST) P1 (GSTP1), driving a previously unrecognized autocrine cycle that sustains proliferation of m and m cancer cells, independent of oncogenic stimuli.

We developed a new screening questionnaire (JAMRISC) utilizing a logistic regression model and evaluated its ability to predict the development of MetS, type 2 diabetes and other lifestyle-related diseases in Japanese populace.
Methods: JAMRISC questionnaire was sent to 1,850 individuals in Rumoi, a small city in Hokkaido.
Background And Study Aims: Endoscopic bile duct stone (BDS) removal is a well-established treatment; however, the preference for basket or balloon catheters for extraction is operator-dependent. We therefore conducted a multicenter prospective randomized trial to compare catheter performance.
Patients And Methods: We enrolled patients with a BDS diameter ≤ 10 mm and common bile duct diameter ≤ 15 mm.
We report a case of gastric invasive micropapillary carcinoma (IMPC) in an 86-year-old female patient. She was admitted to our hospital with a chief complaint of bloody emesis. Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy found a gastric adenocarcinoma at the antrum.
