Background: Fatigue is an immune-related adverse event (irAE) associated with immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) used for cancer treatment. Chinese herbal medicines (Ho-zai) are used to treat cancer-related fatigue. However, no interactions between ICIs and Ho-zai have been reported.

Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP) are among the major causes of high maternal and fetal/neonatal morbidity and mortality rates. Patients with HDP have significantly elevated N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) levels at diagnosis; however, the NT-proBNP levels during early pregnancy are largely unknown. This study aimed to validate the association between HDP and NT-proBNP levels.

Effect of oral administration of colostrum on inflammation in the udders of dairy cows suffering from mastitis.

The present study was undertaken to examine whether oral administration of colostrum to mastitic cows reduced inflammation in the udder. Fifty milliliters of a colostrum whey product was administered orally daily for 3 days to cows suffering from mastitis. Milk was collected on day 0 and 7 of colostrum administration.
