[Clastogenic effect of thiophosphamide in spermatogonia of inbred strains of mice].

Sensitivity of spermatogonia of 11 mouse inbred strains to induction of chromosome damages by thiophosphamide (thioTEPA) was studied. Metaphase chromosome preparations were made 24 h after treatment with thioTEPA (at 2.25 mg/kg, i/p).

[Electroacupuncture in the prevention of the immunosuppressive action of surgical stress].

Immunological indexes have been studied in 22 patients during planned herniotomy and in 52 healthy donors. The study group comprised 12 patients operated on under local anesthesia in combination with electroacupuncture analgesia (EAPA). Premedication was not performed, narcotic analgesics, neuroleptics and antihistamine agents were also excluded.

[Disorders of the immune system in benign lesions and cancer of the breast].

Immunologic vigor was studied in 225 cases of breast cancer at various stages, 99 patients with benign lesions of the breast and 154 healthy donors. The parameters of cell-mediated immunity under study included total, active and neuraminidase T-lymphocyte levels, concentration of T-lymphocyte subsets (Tm, T gamma, theophylline--sensitive and theophylline--resistant) and their profile, functional activity of lymphocytes in blastogenic reaction with PHA and natural killer levels. Also, such humoral immunity indexes as B-lymphocytes and immunoglobulins A, M and C were evaluated.

[The immune response during combined treatment of breast cancer].

Immunological investigation was carried out in 55 breast cancer patients aged 36 to 62.
