Unusual arrangement of mirror-image dextrocardia with viscero-atrial situs solitus, with morphological right atrium anterior and to the right of the morphological left atrium - diagnosis and surgery of associated defects.

In this case report, we have described a novel variant of mirror-image dextrocardia associated with viscero-atrial situs solitus, and not inversus, and the embryological basis for this presentation. The use of a pericardial baffle to correct the underlying intracardiac defects and the importance of confirming the anteroposterior relations of the atria, and not just their left-right relations, while deciphering the anatomy of dextrocardia.

White Matter Hyperintensities on High-Resolution 3-T MRI: Frequency in Mild Traumatic Brain Injury and Associations with Clinical Markers-A Prospective Controlled Multicenter Study.

A challenge in management of patients with mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) is the lack of objective biomarkers to guide diagnosis, classification, and prognostication. White matter hyperintensities (WMHs) on T2-weighted MRI sequences have been identified as a potential marker for this purpose. To compare WMHs on high-resolution 3-T MRI between individuals with and without mTBI and to assess associations of WMHs with clinical markers in mTBI.

The subclavian artery's intrathoracic segment is a rare peripheral artery aneurysm site. Common causes are atherosclerosis, trauma, vasculitis, and infection. Subclavian artery aneurysms have a higher propensity for rupture, thrombosis, embolization, and compression of surrounding structures, thus necessitating urgent surgical care.
