An aberrantly regulated Wnt/β-catenin signalling pathway can transform into an oncogenic pathway, which is associated with Colorectal cancer (CRC) as well as other cancers. CRC is one of the most frequently occurring gastrointestinal cancers worldwide.

Carbene-Functionalized Bulky-Cyclopentadiene Rings.

A series of significantly bulky mono- and di-substituted cyclic alkyl-amino carbene (cAAC)- functionalized cyclopentadiene ring (Cp) compounds were synthesized. The functionalization of the Cp ring with cAAC ligands makes them significantly bulkier, while retaining their ligation properties. These compounds display interesting fluorescence properties.

Recent advancements in catalytic micromotors have shown significant potential for environmental applications, yet challenges such as particle agglomeration persist. In this study, we compare the degradation of methylene blue using hematite particles fully coated with platinum and those partially decorated with platinum. The selective decoration, confirmed through techniques like EDX, FESEM, TEM, and XPS, plays a crucial role in the micromotors' behavior.
