Sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors are medications with anti-inflammatory effects used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Cervical cancer is the most common gynecological cancer and is characterized by elevated inflammatory status. Accordingly, this study aimed to investigate the potential association between SGLT2 inhibitor use and cervical cancer development.

In this study, the SIA was converted to an S-doped Fe-zeolite type catalyst (FZA) for the treatment of emerging contaminants (ECs), exemplified by sulfamethoxazole (SMX). Results demonstrate that FZA effectively catalyzed the activation of peracetic acid (PAA), achieving a remarkable degradation of 99.

Geometric and dosimetric comparisons were performed between auto-contours (ACs) and manual-contours (MCs) produced by physicians for target structures. Breast and regional nodal structures were manually delineated on 66 breast cancer patients.

An urgent clinical need exists for real-time intraoperative visualization of breast carcinomas during BCS. We previously demonstrated the ability of a prototype imaging device to identify breast carcinoma in excised surgical specimens following 5-aminolevulinic acid (5-ALA) administration.

The purpose of this study was to address this gap by reviewing the published literature on CSPBIs, with particular attention to the application of item response theory (IRT) and Rasch analysis in their development.
Methods: A scoping review of the literature covering the concepts of all phases of CSPBI development and evaluation was performed from MEDLINE, Embase, PsychInfo, CINAHL, and the Cochrane Library, from inception to December 30, 2022.
