To explore the association between complementary and integrative health (CIH) service use and completion of a Domiciliary Care for Homeless Veterans (DCHV) program. The sample included 227 veterans enrolled at one DCHV program between September 2021 and September 2023. Multivariable logistic regression analyses were conducted.

We sought gaps in literature related to geographically based health disparities among people experiencing housing instability and identify practices that may promote better health outcomes. We offer practical implications for health care and service provision for people experiencing housing instability in rural areas.

Our objectives were to characterize I&I across a rural sewershed and assess potential impacts on viral (rotavirus, norovirus GII, and SARS-CoV-2), fecal indicator (HF183, the hCYTB484 gene specific to the human mitochondrial genome, and crAssphage), and antimicrobial resistance (intI1, bla) targets. In a small town in Virginia (USA), we collected 107 wastewater samples at monthly intervals over a 12-month period (2022-2023) at the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) influent and 11 up-sewer sites.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to determine the safety and efficacy of tricuspid transcatheter edge-to-edge repair in patients with transvalvular CIED leads.
Methods: The TRILUMINATE (Trial to Evaluate Cardiovascular Outcomes in Patients Treated With the Tricuspid Valve Repair System) Pivotal Trial (NCT03904147) is an international randomized, controlled trial in symptomatic subjects with severe TR.
In recent years, the recreational use of xylazine has increased dramatically in the USA. Although xylazine has been used as an anesthetic in veterinary medicine for decades, little is known about its behavioral effects. We took advantage of the planarian's innate negative phototaxis, the reliable movement from the light side to the dark side of a Petri dish, to explore the organism's suitability as an animal model for investigating the preclinical pharmacology of xylazine.
