Study Question: Do women with endometriosis who achieve a live birth (LB) after HRT-frozen embryo transfer (HRT-FET) have different progesterone levels on the day of transfer compared to unaffected women?

Summary Answer: In women achieving a LB after HRT-FET, serum progesterone levels on the day of the transfer did not differ between patients with endometriosis and unaffected patients.

What Is Known Already: In HRT-FET, several studies have highlighted the correlation between serum progesterone levels at the time of FET and LB rates. In the pathophysiology of endometriosis, progesterone resistance is typically described in the eutopic endometrium.

Disabled Veterans commonly experience pain. The Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers (PCAFC) provides training, a stipend, and services to family caregivers of eligible Veterans to support their caregiving role. The study on bioaccumulation of heavy metals in a lake reveals that during the nonrainy season, accumulation of cadmium in plankton is high in the upstream of the lake where anoxic freshwater condition exists resulting from inflow of urban wastes. Stern action is required to stop the bypass of sewage from the old sewer system especially in the commercial areas of Thiruvananthapuram city, either by augmenting the sewerage system or by treating sewage at the source. During monsoon season, the accumulation of heavy metals-namely lead and nickel, followed by cadmium and chromium-is high in phytoplankton resulting from high nitrate content caused by heavy rainfall.

The objectives of this study were to establish scab incidence thresholds at which summer fungicide sprays should be initiated and to develop sequential sampling for classification plans to facilitate decision making. The relationship between proportion of scabbed leaves per shoot and percent scabbed fruits at harvest was established based on data collected in both experimental and commercial orchards. Action threshold at which fungicide spray program should be initiated in order to maintain fruit scab at harvest below 2% was established at 0.
