Coral reefs are threatened by various local and global stressors, including elevated ocean temperatures due to anthropogenic climate change. Coral cryopreservation could help secure the diversity of threatened corals. Recently, isochoric vitrification was used to demonstrate that coral fragments lived to 24 hr post-thaw; however, in this study, they were stressed post-thaw.

A carbon-centered radical, formed upon reduction of an alkyl halide by Cu(I), adds across the alkene of a vinylcyclopropane, triggering ring opening to generate a benzylic radical, which, finally, undergoes copper-mediated amination to afford a homoallylic amine. The reaction occurs with outstanding regio- and good to very good diastereoselectivities.

Nevertheless, our understanding of the external and internal factors influencing these dynamics, as well as their spatiotemporal variations, is still limited. In the present study, variations in the social structure of an endangered Indo-Pacific humpback dolphin population in Xiamen Bay, China, were monitored over two distinct periods (2007-2010 and 2017-2019) to analyze the effects of habitat utilization and the composition of individuals within the population.
